Donations to SID are tax-deductible within the USA and help promote display events and the interchange of technical information through SID publications and webinars. SID emails donation confirmation letters for use in claiming a tax deduction within two weeks of receiving a donation.
To increase the donation amount, one can "purchase" multiple donations, for example 5 x $50 donations to donate $250, 100 x $50 to donate $5,000, etc. If donating $5,000+ and you wish to donate to a certain type of activity, such as webinars or student travel grants, please contact office@sid.org.
